"I win either way!"

 Retired Texas Ranger Joaquin Jackson (1966-1993) is undergoing major health issues at this time. Joaquin met with his doctor on May 30th at M.D. Anderson in Houston. After conferring with his doctor, Joaquin has opted not to take any chemotherapy treatments that the doctor recommended.
   Either way, the drugs would not prolong his life in the end, and may or may not help him feel better. Joaquin is at peace with his decision. He loves the Lord and to quote Joaquin, "I win either way, here, or with the Lord”. Joaquin and Jewel thank you for all your prayers, love and support.
   Their trust is in the Lord, as they journey forward during the next few months. Jewel says he will not give up hope and that Joaquin has a will to live, and is fighting to do so!!
